a music graduate from london university, mrs woodhouse has held posts as director of music at wimbledon high school in london, sixth form housemistress of queenswood school, deputy head at st mary’s wantage, head of abbots bromley school for girls. prior to joining surval, mrs woodhouse was headmistress at malvern st james girls’ school – the school flourished under her leadership, being ranked in the top 3 independent girls’ boarding schools in uk. mrs woodhouse is also a trained isi team inspector, an experienced school governor and a member of the worshipful company of educators.
mrs woodhouse is a keen sailor and cat-lover, sharing her chalet with moggies chippy and cassie. prior to teaching, mrs woodhouse held a successful career in the commercial sector, working in london for ralph lauren. this has given her a vital insight into what global brand-leader corporations are seeking in young recruits.
